89 Camaro - Unknown relay by the brake booster

89 Camaro Iroc/L98. Relays up by the brake booster. I have identified the ESC, MAF, MAF burnoff, and fuel pump. I have another, slightly smaller relay with a red, green, and two brown wires. This relay comes from a slightly different area/bundle of wires in the harness. What is this relay? ....I've come across some references to fog lights but no confirmation of any sort, or colors confirming this.

Help?

Post a photo.

Might not be factory at all; rather, aftermarket.

Here's a pic I found in an old thread. Post#3.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...relay-pic.html

....this pic looks very much like what i've got, even the slightly different shaped "fog lamp" relay. I've verified all the others through wire color, and per the pic, they are accurate, I just can't seem to find a schematic to confirm the fog lamp relay. ...all signs would point to this pic being accurate, i was just looking for confirmation. ....I can always go and actually test it, I'm just in the house now and being lazy I suppose.

I found that schematic as well as few other years and they don't match my color wiring. Thanks for posting btw. ......it's not a huge deal. I'll check the old fashioned way.

Re: 89 Camaro - Unknown relay by the brake booster

FWIW, my '87 FSM shows the fog lamp relay having two brown, one red and one green wire.

The relay is physically located inside the front, left fender and not the firewall.

Sorry for the crap scan quality.

The diagram itself has issues; 1987 did not have an illuminated switch nor did it have an indicator lamp.
