Hey guys...so I have the 1987 Factory Shop Manual here in front of me...got an IROC recently (87) and the horn doesnt work. Well I took off the horn button cap w/e you call it, and from what I can see NO yellow contact harness is present...there is however some glue work and zip tie work that was done to hold in button onto the metal insert ring thingy...yeah that sounds right. So A my question is is it possible the harness is inside the steering column? And does anyone know where in the manual it has horn removal lol. Or can send me an image of it in the manual or page # please. Also why would someone remove that stuff??? Maybe it was causing something to short out. Anyways thanks for the help. O also how can I test this without the harness to see if the horns work, thanks!
