Rookie question

I have just finished putting in a new ABS headliner and have everything back together except for the light bulb in the dome light. Now I have no power hatch release and no power door locks. Does the light bulb need to be installed in order for the other accessories to work? I've checked the fuses and they are all OK. Thanks for any response.

Re: Rookie question

No; but you probably blew the CTSY fuse (which feeds that light, among other things including the ones you mention) somewhere along the line.

Re: Rookie question

The problem must be a blown fuse for those accessories if they were working fine previous to you installing the new headliner. There is no wiring associated with the power locks or hatch release in the area that the headliner goes.

I would double check your fuses carefully, make sure they are all still good, as well as seated properly in the holder.

Let us know how you make out.
