So this past weekend I decided to replace all my exterior bulbs (excluding headlights and fog lights) with LED bulbs and my flasher with a Novita EL-12, which is variable load and was advertised as LED compatible, however it apparently wasn't as when I went to use my signals they just came on, stayed solid and didn't flash whatsoever. After digging around online some I saw a few people were recommending a no load electronic flasher as the fix-all, and was personally recommended an FF5552NLF. It worked as well as the Novita and now it seems I've gotten myself stuck in a position where I have a set of expensive, nonreturnable LED bulbs and turn signals that don't flash. Removing them and going back to normal incandescent bulbs is not and option as I've spent too much on them just to remove them and sell them as used. I also do not want to bother with load resistors as I'm highly against cutting and splicing these into my wiring and just mounting them wherever they fit. Any and all help with this issue would be very much appreciated as I obviously can't have non functioning turn signals but at the same time can't justify removing these bulbs. Does anyone know of a flasher that is absolutely guaranteed to work with our cars? Or am I missing something and is there something else I need to replace to get this all to work?
