Fuel level gauge not working
I have a brand new pump, mount, and sending unit but the fuel level gauge stays at half empty all the time. Is there any way to clean or fix it ? I'm looking for a replacement but wanted to ask here, everything I've read says wiring issues cause the needle to max out but this one stays dead middle whether the car is off or on, never moves.

Gage Rage
The needle never moving means it is mechanically stuck.
You will have to remove the dash, and gain access to the gage.
Try the least force methods first.
Inspect the needle to make sure it isn’t binding to the faceplate.
Inspect the meter movement for debris.
Use low pressure compressed air to free any debris.
Use a tiny wooden dowel to see if you can move the needle.
Try moving it at the base of the needle so you don’t bend it.
