Im looking to see if I can pin a wire into the 7730 ECM (1991 AUJP) for switched 12V power.
Im hooking up a WB gauge and would rather run the harness for it to one side of the car (passenger) and not have to split it up and go to the fuse block for power and then to the ECM for data ouput signal.

Is A6 currently occupied by a wire or is it blank? I really would rather not splice into a wire. I am really trying not to splice into the cars electrical system. Car is very clean.

Nevermind, just found it. Its occupied

Best bet is to run a wire to the fuse box. There are a couple of locations marked IGN on the lower left. They are fed via the 10A GAGES fuse.

For any other tap you will need to splice wires.

Agreed, that is how I run my heated O2 sensor. The Fuse Box comes with a few tapping areas.
