Hi, I posted this project a while ago and thought I would show the final version. From left to right, engine oil temp (169) next, trans oil temp (115), next, alternator/battery voltage (13.3), next engine water temp (174)
This photo was taken after a long drive. What I find interesting is the transmission temp, it's 115 degrees F. I have been driving with these gauges for a couple of months and have never seen the transmission temp go over 120 degrees. The temp sensor is located after the transmission cooler. I thought it would be much higher. (Your thoughts)?
Engine oil temp usually stays around 170 degrees, takes a long time to reach that temp, usually about 10 miles or so. Running a 170 degree thermostat.
