Strange harness found under console

Strange harness found under console
I found a 2 wire harness under my console, right where the hatch button/ console clock would be. My Z is a base model with only power locks, the harness has a red, and a yellow wire, but what is their purpose, any info is welcome

Yep thats right,I just added that button to my camaro.Now I cant stop using it cause its so fun to open the hatch from the inside for once
