Years ago, I replaced the bushings in my headlight door motors, so I've dealt with that before.

I've been looking around online to see if I should fix my 91 TA, or buy something that needs less repairs.

Was wondering why you see so many of these cars with non-functioning headlight doors?

Is it usually the motors, or usually the solid state module? I know there's not much else to the workings of the system.

Can you get new or rebuild headlight door modules? Or is it used ones only?
