what the....

A few months ago, I started my car up (89 camaro RS), turned on the headlights and started backing out. All of a sudden, my headlights (hazard lights were fine), stereo, horn, door locks, and a few other small things stopped working. I checked all my fuses, and they were ok. I messed around with some of the wiring for a week or so, and finally around a week later, i started it up to drive over to a parts store, and everything turned back on halfway there.

It's been fine since then, but one other time everything shut off for about a second. Anyone have an idea what is causing this? The last thing I need is for it to happen at night when im driving on the freeway@ 70 mph.

definately sounds like a ground problem. I'd double check all the grounds in your car. I'm not familiar with where they are in an F-body do I cant help you there. Check all your grounds and make sure they are clean and tight
