Help with instrument panel problem!!!
When I turn on my lights the blinkers and high beam light on the instrument panel stay lit. The left side of the guages is lit up very bright but the right side is almost completely out. I know the bulb is still good because I replaced them today. So what is wrong? Please someone help, I cannot even see my tach at night. Thanks
Oh boy, you have the same problem (sort of) as me.
I hope SOMEONE can help us. Though I'm getting rid of the 92, it'd be nice to know...
I installed high wattage xenon low beams in the RS a while back, and that sort of...altered the electrical system somehow. The high beam indicator stayed on, and the turn signal indicators wouldn't shut off.
I installed white gauge faces on the cluster, and then I installed red bulbs behind it to illuminate red...well...
My problems began there.
Now, only the light behind the speedo comes on every time, and it's random whether the other 3 bulbs will shine. It's a little annoying. I even bought a new cluster from someone and put it in, and I'm having the same problem.
I don't know what to do. I sanded the contacts, did EVERYTHING. What the hell is going on? I removed the xenon headlights and put the stock halogen H4656's back in, but the high beam indicator is still on at the wrong time...what the hell is going on?

Yeah sounds like my problem but I haven't altered the electrical system at all. I also put red bulbs in but it was doing this before that. Other than this problem the red lights look sweet on the speedometer. I hope someone can help us.
try this
sounds odd but i had a short behind one of my headlights and when i turned them on the bright indicator was on. if i fliped the lever for the brights the lights would turn off. the short was causing one bright to turn on with the low beams and it pissed off the relays...check ur headlight connections. its a longshot but might be it
