Electric fan relay location?
Electric fan relay location?
Greeting from the UK. I`m having a problem finding the relay and the switch for the electric fans on my 1991 Trans Am. The manual tries to cover all third-gens in one book and does a pretty vague job of it. I`ve looked all around the radiator and cylinder heads and can`t seem to find them. Any help would be appreciated as the car is used every day.

In '91, '92 F bodies, the fan relays are located in the engine compartment, on the fire wall on the (US) driver's side, in a cluster of 3 relays. Two operate the two fans & the other operates the fuel pump. The primary fan relay is operated by the ECM (on above 226 F). The secondary fan relay is operated by the fan switch, located in the passenger side cylinder head (on above 238 F), or the liquid line pressure switch, located in the A/C liquid line (on above 212 psig).
