I just wanted to share a project that I have been working on for a while. These are replacement window switches for 3rd gens.
Features:
- Direct replacement
- Plug and Play
- Low profile faux leather touch pads
- Halo LEDs
- Auto Up / Down programming
- Integrated current sensors.
- High efficiency power transfer to provide full power to the window motors (No power loss through the switches)
finally got mine fully installed. had issue with the hatch switch at first (not bravetechs fault) weird wiring in my car so had to get another one shipped out to me. anyways i freakin love them. the 1 touch feature works perfectly since i usually roll down the windows on nice days. had to go with the MERICA theme on the lighting. cant wait or the new project were working on.
Very nice. Are they bright in the daylight? Are the windows any faster? Cant wait till i get mine.

So here's a comparison between my car with new window motors and the bravetech and my buddies camaro with stock window switches and i think stock window motors

They both appear to be about the same, both are faster than my pass. side window with new(er) motor.
My switches currently do not amplify the voltage. Unfortunately, that would end up being quite a large circuit board. They rely on the current carrying capacity of the original wiring, to provide power to the motors. Anything is possible, for future versions, though.
My goal was to provide the Auto Up/Down functionality, while still maintaining a simple Plug N Play installation.
Please let me know if there are any features you'd like to see in future versions. I'm always happy to hear any additional feature requests.

Just like to say I'm glad someone like yourself is developing new parts for these 30-40 y/o cars and bringing them closer to having a modern feel, I just put in your dome light and trunk LED and they are quality pieces, when I told me wife about the dome light and it's cost over a factory replacement I got the biggest eye roll I've ever seen form her, totally worth every cent
For the window switches me personally I'm more concerned about performance like helping with the voltage drop than the up and down feature, which is a very cool feature, I would rather keep the factory look of the switches and have faster windows than touch pad up/down feature. I saw that your developing a system that uses the factory window switches, it would be interesting to see this also be able to supply something closer to 12v to the window motors.

If you know (or had to guess) what's the max voltage your window switches could handle?
I think the window racer ups the voltage to around 16-18 and everyone says the current goes thru the switch switch. That's probably my main concern, if your switches could handle the extra current.
Braven, I'm interested in these Switches but don't like the Faux Leather look. Is there an alternative available? Is there a non-textured option? I have the Power Window Relay Kit by Formula1LE, are your switches compatible? Is there a Discount available for multiple items? I'm also interested in the Dome & Cargo Area Lights.

I really appreciate your feedback. I will look into developing a voltage booster for these touchpad switches and my adapters that use the factory switches.

Hi there,
I don't currently have any alternative options, but I can design and provide a non textured look, if you wish.
If your relay kit simply supplies power to the windows, through a large relay array, this switch is not compatible with that setup. My switch has built in "relays" (Actually High Power Mosfets). The relay assembly is not required and can be removed. If you have provided a new direct 12V wire to the relays, from the battery, we can discuss how to use this wire to provide proper 12V power to the switches.
Unfortunately, as I am a very small business. I cannot afford to provide discounts for purchasing multiple items.

That's a great question, The internal components can handle up to 25V. The only areas that would be a concern would be the motor current draw detection calibration for the auto up/down feature, and I would need to adjust the resistor for the LEDs, to prevent the additional voltage from overheating them.
