Hey guy looking for a little help me and my son are building a 1984 TA .. we got a oem set of lovers and back glass for a steel !! His car didn’t come with rear defrost ( California car) the glass has it . I have gotten a 1984 switch ( pic included) is this the switch with the timer relay or do I need a external one and if anyone has a wire schematic of the switch would be great

The switch is just the switch. You also need the module, which on the later cars at least is a large silver can, mounted in the passenger's side of the dash.
