Cruise Control
My cruise control works except for the electric disengage.
I swapped from auto to manual on my 90 iROC.
I have the vacuum disconnect hooked to the brake pedal and the electric switch hooked to the clutch pedal. This is how the service manual shows the system for the manual trans.
The cruise will not disengage with the clutch pedal depressed.
I can get the cruise to engage with the electric switch disconnected, my understanding is this shouldn't happen
I've searched and looked in the service manual and not finding this issue.
The best I found were fixes for a lot of other issues and if those fixes don't work it's probably is the control module.
I searched for the module and it's discontinued new. Used ones on ebay and a refurbished from rock auto for $135 is what I'm finding.
Any advice is appreciated
