do you know what this is?
The woman I bought the car from had an alarm system installed. I am thinking this is one of the components. What does it look like to you? It's behind the brake booster.

From the picture,it looks like one of the older mechanical spring style shock sensors. Last time I installed that type of sensor was about 10 years ago,so it's either old,or a very cheap alarm.
