Help

Hey, My hatchback lock isn't working right... could it be from the contact points being dirty... or is there a fuse thats blown that maybe i could check? Any help is appriciated. Thanks.

I assume it is a motorized one. Is it not locking at all? Sometimes you have to reset then by reaching down where the latch goes and hitting the switch to sent the motor back up to the top.

Car: IROC 5,0 TPI '88
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: auto
On RED/BLUE connector must be all time present +12V
and black wire must be good connected to ground.
If You put finger to latch - lift must be in run.
ou can too disconect RED/BLUE connector and connect
again ( measure voltage by the way on RED wire )....
IF You not hear click on pressing button or can only
open by key - that is damage on electromagnet
or black wirring ( +12V while pressing hatch button
inside ). If You remove from car lift before disassemble
connect 12V to lift ( + on BLUE wire and - to black ground
wire and put finger in latch ) If lift not working that can be
damage in motor or blocked ( clean )
