Which one should I get for my 91 z28. Accel is cheaper and I have never heard anything bad about their ignition and it says its the most powerful. I have heard that msd messes up the tac and that camaros just dont work well with them. I dont know if this is true or not. I just want to know what people recoment. Thanks.

all i can say is every serious car out there runs MSD and no one has problems with them. they come 1 year warranty, and after that you can send them to be fixed for $19-$55.00 depending on the problem.
the MSD 6-AL unit usually improves gas mileage about 1 MPG i have seen as little as 1 MPG as much as 3 MPG in forced induction cases, and they rarelly fail, even under exteme temps. but they work better colder, just like any electronics (why is the ECM inSIDE the car, not under the hood HMMMM???) Now some people will SWEAR by the Accel stuff, its good for sure, but if your serious you will spend the little extra $$$ and get MSD.
As for guages, I dont know for sure, I always disconnect mine and run a Auto meter Tach. Factory guages LAG and display incorrectly for me usually, just my Xperiences...
