Ok...... when I bought my car I noticed that the headlights worked okay on dim until you left them on for awhile; then they would blink on and off untill you put them on bright and then they would be okay. Since then a friend of mine has somehow got them wired where they only stay on bright and the dimmer switch dosent even do anything any more. What could be causing them to blink and if anyone knows, how can I get them back to the way there originaly intended? cant find out how friend rigged it cause hes moved away.... HELP!!

 

Most likely the problem is due to a faulty connection at the Headlight sealed beam wiggle test to find it. To reverse the mod your buddy did you need a schematic kind of like this for my '92 maybe this will help find the correct wires for unmodding then you may go a step further like I'm going to do tomorrow and mod them like the technical article on this board says for brighter headlights.
