How hot does the MSD Ignition box get??

How hot does the MSD Ignition box get??
Just curious how hot it gets. I've heard you should mount it in a location where it will have air blown on it from the fan. Does it get hot enough to melt wires?

I've had my MSD-6A mounted behind the brake booster for 5 years, no problem. I got the 6A due to the fact that I have an automatic and I don't abuse the equipment when I race it and besides how many factory TPI cars do you really see still pulling power above 5500 rpm, not many. Any 305 or 350 that can't handle that needs replacing anyway.
