Please help--I have a wire but no clue where it goes!

Hey all; I've been having some problems getting my non-working rear-defogger working. Here's the issue: my on/off switch is good, I have power going to the switch and all. Yet it won't turn on. Could it be that it isn't grounded properly? Also, under the dash, I have this foggywhite plug with a pink wire with a black line and a grey wire coming out of it...I have a pink wire with a black line on my rear defogger. Could it be that that wire is supposed to be connectedsomewhere? If so, where?

I believe that there is a relay on the passenger side of the dash up and behind the faceplate (the one your looking at when sitting in the passenger seat).

Thanks redbird

hey redbird; thanks for your reply. so are you saying that this plug with the pink and grey wires goes on my passenger side? behind a nameplate? what nameplate is this? is it the emblem? if so, is it simply a plug-in procedure?
