B4C alternator or Iceburg kit?

I think I'm going to have to replace or rebuild my alternator. Since I'm already going to be doing that, I figure why not look into upping the amperage. Anybody have any input as to which would be a better choice? Both the Iceburg and the Caprice style alternators are 140 amps I believe. The only big difference I've come up with so far is cost.

The B4C alt is physically larger in size than the standard single serpentine F-body alt (larger directed fan & case for better thermal dissipation), and most likely has larger gauge stator windings, as well. I believe that the Iceberg upgrade increases only the current rating on the diodes & adds a larger surface area heat sink for the diodes. I converted over to a B4C alt in my '92 since I added high wattage head lamps and a nitrous bottle heater, which adds about 20 + 10 = 30 amperes (or 25%) of additional load to the system.

Ah, I forgot about the serpentine setup. I'm an 87 TPI, so that won't work. Hmmm. I assume the same is true for an LT1 alternator that I saw somewhere on the boards. It's probly serpentine belt too.... Ok, I guess I need to do some more homework first.
