Replacing my Ignition Help
Hey all i got a 89 iroc 350. I dont know what to do . I have pulled the wheel off. Then i dont know what to do. Also my old key came with the chip in it. The new one does not .The man at the chevy lot said i dont need that. There is a whire that will fix that. thanks for the help

Do a search for VATS.. it comes up every once in awhile. If you're needing to disable VATS, I believe you'll have to email the people that know about it. For obvious reasons, the fix isn't really put on public display.

Stuck as in like, turns to the 'run' positin but, won't turn to enough to be able crank the car ?
It could be a problem with the ignition switch itself being broke if so (they are seperate from each other & there is a rod that connects them). I had that problem when I pulled my shifter out of gear one night (it took no effort to do) There is a cable that attaches from the shfter to the ignition switch that locks out the shifter when the car is off. I solved mine by hacking the cable off & replacing the switch (since I broke it fully using vise-grips to start the car).
Of course, your sitiation could be something completely different and what I said has no meaning to your problem ( which wouldn't be a first
