Headlight Module

Last time I went to the dealer to check out my ignition system, I alos asked him to look at my passenger side headlight of my '89 Firebird. I knew the motor was bad, but he said that the wiring module was shot too. I have no idea what he is talking about or where it is except for the fact that he said it comes out of the firewall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

headlight module is a 3"x3" (roughly) flat black box mounted right behind the brake booster to the left (looking at it from the fnt of the car) if I remember right. (I may be wrong on this but...) If it's toast, neither light would function correctly.
