probably the dumbest thing ive ever done besides beating on my rs.......but i gotta have my car back for the summer.
i will trade my 1996 oldsmobile acheiva 3.1 auto, 115k, runs great. just needs an ignition switch, driver side mirror, and pads. the ignition switch works everytime, but the lock is screwed up. i drive the car everyday and wouldnt be worried about driving it anywhere..... all i need is a 305 or 350 longblock (roller). something i can swap into the rs along with all the parts that are still good on it. i dont need an ecm, or a tranny, just the longblock (preferably with a decent set of heads, but stock will do i guess) the car is valued at around 1600 give or take, but im tired of tire kickers who call and dont show up. it makes a great daily and i wouldnt be afraid to drive it anywhere. in fact, we just took it up to springfeild mass from the jersey shore 2 weeks ago, no problems whatsoever. i will need a good longblock, and around 300 in cash. before anyone says it, yes, i will be taking a huuuuuuge loss on this car, however, i really need my camaro back for the summer. thats the whole reason i bought it. and right now, unfortunatly, i dont have much cash at all. just what i make, and that goes to rent, food, and the fiancee.
