i have a complete 9 bolt rear, with the pbr brakes on it, came off a 88 notchback, rotor to rotor, posi unit is still good, i never had a problem w/ it, i believe it has the 3:27 gears in it. i went to a 4th gen rear, thats the only reason why i removed it. only 2 small things. 1 - the pass side caliper parking brake lever is broken off. (u need a caliper) and the brake lines were cut, so your gonna have to route your own brake line on the rear, or remove it from your old one and transfer it on. otherwise it's a solid rear, no leaks that i saw, and it was sitting for 2 years until yesterday when i pulled it out.

trust me this one does. In my car originally i had a 9 bolt w/ the sucky rear brake setup, and when i picked this one up i was suprised to see the pbr calipers and larger rear rotors. it looks like the notchback t/a i took this off of was probably a late 88 model. if you want i can take a picture or two tommarow.
