Hughes Performance Street/Strip 700r4

Hughes Performance Street/Strip 700r4
Model #: 74-1

This transmission is roughly two and'a half years old and works flawlessly, I promise. All gears shift smoothly, whether cruising or at full throttle. This transmission has caused me zero problems and will not cause you any problems either. A friend has a built up 700r4 and I'd rather put it in than rip apart my Hughes Transmission, but I'm in no need to sell... just thought I'd offer it to someone else at nearly half the price of brand new one.

Wanting to upgrade to this over your stock 700r4? It will bolt directly in and your throttle cable linkage will fit perfectly.

Here's Summit Information On It -
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Asking $850/Shipped... I'll do what I can to work with you on price.

Currently, the transmission is attached to a B&M 2400rpm Stall Converter, similar to this one - http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
If you want the Torque Converter Also, we may be able to work something out for it.

Offer A Deal, I'd rather sell it off then let it sit around and not be used.

Why are you taking the Hughes trans out and replacing it with another built 700R4?

My buddies B&M 700r4 is absolutely decked out. He had it all built up for his '92 Z28 and ran it for a while but now he's in the process of putting turbo on his car and is expecting 800hp+ and the B&M just won't hold that load. I love the Hughes, but I'm getting great deal on the B&M so I'd rather let someone else have a great tranny(The Hughes) instead of me looking at it everyday on a stand.

After researching shipping prices. I'll go ahead and bite it and make my price $850/shipped, yet I'll still do what I can to work with you on price if shipping estimates work out well.

Man, I have been looking for a deal like this on a built tranny for a while. I am starting to save up again, being at college is killing me. How much power do you think this tranny is able to hold? Im building a 383 but not a high performance one i would like about 400hp/tq at the crank... I prob wont be able to get the money in time before you sell it but if you still have it in a few weeks i am very interested in it.

I haven't been able to find a whole lot of build information on the Hughes, but I THINK they will handle around 450hp. This one isn't really built up, but Hughes does build their trannies with higher-end capabilities out of the factory compared to other brands.

Hey buddy, I've hit you up with a PM. The transmission should officially be good to ship in about a week... just haven't gotten time to drain fluids and get it all cleaned up yet, still trying to piece together the BlueZ and get it runnin again.
