Re: SBC parts
NO, the y-pipe requires modification to use it. It explains that in the description on SUMMITRACING.COM and I didn't realize it.

Re: SBC parts
I haven't done any cleaning to the heads since I removed them, but they seriously don't have any more than a cam breakin and maybe 10 miles on them!

Re: SBC parts
I got some paint on the pulley from when I painted my fuel pump blockoff plate, and I have no clue what the numbers etched in it are, they must be some date code from the March factory or something.

Re: SBC parts
The large piece there is the only piece I have, when you order just the y-pipe from summitracing.com that is all it comes with!

This is the summitracing.com link to the y-pipe, the "image is a representation of this part. Actual part may vary"

Yeah I didn't see that part on the page about the image not being the actual part when I ordered it, but it is for a small block V8 from 86-90

Re: purchase of the March pulley- I'll take it. Just to confirm: it should fit my 88 IROC 5.7 serpentine system, correct? Also, are you doing Paypal??? To bad the alternator stuff sold, but is the starter 'new' or 'new-rebuilt'??
Thanks, Nitro

Re: SBC parts
in the pics the one in need of a rebuild looks cleaner than the other one? what is the story on the carbs, miles, running condition? does either of them come with the braided line and gauge?

Re: SBC parts
The one that needs rebuild was put on a multi-port fuel injection car with no regulator and ran for a week (thanks to an old friend) it is fairly new, only about 2 years old or so and has been on 3 defferent vehicles.

The good carb was run on a couple engines for break-in and then ran 12.4 with nitrous in an '81 Malibu for a day. One full 10lbs bottle of nitrous was used through it and it still runs strong!

That isn't a braided line there by the way, it is one of those sleeves, the guage and sleeved line will go with the first carb that is sold.
