I have a 9 bolt posi with 3.27 gears for sale from a 89 trans am gta for sale.
Posi worked very well with no issues since the car had only 110 000 km on it.
rear end can be sold complete except for the calipers and rotors (I no longer have) . If interested, I'm willing to sell the posi seperately from the complete rear end. Also the 9 bolt backing plates seperately as well.

As you may or may not know, finding parts such as gears and posi for a 9 bolt in good condition is very hard to come by.

If you get rid of the posi by its self, I need the passenger side axle to replace the one I bent.

I can't remember if the 3.27 gears will transfer over to my current 9-bolt with the 2.77 gears. Are you set up with Paypal????

first of all, Yes I do have a paypal account. second your current carrier is a series 2 carrier. only good for that 2.73 gear. Mine is a series 3 carrier, good for gears 3.27 - 4.10 gears if desired.
The good news is that if you buy the complete rear end, you can use eveything. Or just buy the posi with the gears and it will fit your differential perfectly, like OEM.

.... I hate not knowing anything about trans and rear ends. Is the carrier separate from the actual housing? If your package will slip into my factory differential, than dang, I'd be thrilled to purchase it!

I've already gone through the rear disc brakes with all new parts on mine. If you can tell me what exactly it is I need to do, I'll PayPal you IMMEDIATELY!!

I've got lots of mods on my 5.7 but with the 2.77 freeway gears I can hardly get it to break loose both back tires.....
