I just finished polishing this system. It is in very nice condition throughout, the system at onetime appears to have been gasket matched and ported. The plenum is opened up extensively at the inlet and matched to the runners. The edlebrock base might have been ported a bit as were the runners. ...... The runners are of the first design SLP's with one set of runners completely siamesed and the others semi siamesed.

This is everything I polished on the system

Base manifold
runners
plenum
fuel rails
fuel lines on the rails and serpentine fuel lines
complete fuel pressure regulator
EGR valve has also been detailed nicely

What does it need
Associated system sensors
O-rings for all fuel lines
a larger then stock throttlebody this plenum can take a monoblade with ease.
bolt kit
gasket kit.

I can not let this system go for less then 900.00 + shipping and insurance costs .... I will be including a 2,300 mile set of 350 injectors with this system but I wont have access to the injectors for two weeks. ..... this system will be available to ship on 12/01/07 since I have to buff it one more time. As is though it is in very nice shape!

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
I also forgot to add this is a speed density system. The runners and fuel rails have no provisions for a cold start fuel injector. Aside from changing the drivers side runner and fuel rail this is the only way this system wil work on a 1985-1989. My system is specifically for a 1990-1992 however it could fit a 1989 Ive heard they didn't have this cold start injector but not sure if that is true.

I also forgot to add this edelbrock manifold is factory drill to be used on both early style heads and later centbolt valve cover heads ...... It can also use F-body heads for EGR gas supply or it also has a provision in the back of the manifold to run a egr supply from the exhaust manifold like 1987-1991 corvettes have. For it to work on a corvette though you must use you corvette fuel rails since these fuel rails are for F-bodies.

I do have a set of V-belt feed lines if this system is purchased for a car without serpentine belt drive.

Also though the manifold does not have the edelbrock logo on the front runners ( I grinded it off for cleaner looks ) it is a edelbrock 3860. I can take pictures of the number cast into the bottom of the manifold if you want .... But I'm sure you can tell it's not a stock base.

I have the same setup but for a cold start. That is beautiful work!!! Do you have any interest in polishing my setup? If so, how much?
Thanks, Mark

I see the EGR port for the Corvette style on the manifold.

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
yes it does have a port on the back of the manifold to feed the EGR valve for use on a corvette .... you simply attach you feed tube from the exhaust manifold to the back of the manifold .... but to work on a corvette you must use the corvettes fuel rails aside from that it will bolt right up to a 1990 vette since everything on this system is for speed denity the plenum even has the appropriate vacuum ports and mounting boss for the MAP sensor ..... The plenum has 91 cast into it however all casting logo's were removed on the bottom of the plenum ..... the manifolds part number is edelbrock 3860

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
thanks for the compliment .... I figure if someone really did the final polishing on this it would be extremly nice. all the parts were in extremly poor shape when I got them so yeah they are very nice considering what I started with.

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
I'm going to show individual parts of the system so that you get a better view of everything and can see the system is in real nice shape .... If anyone wants specific shots of it let me know through PM

I feel this thread needs detail pictures of all parts of this system considering it is a high priced add so you can see exactly what its really like.

----------
OH and these pictures were just taken after a hot soap bath and quik rubdown with mothers polish .... I will take more pics as I clean the rest of the parts.
----------
And to be specific these pictures were taken on a cloudy day with NO flash on the camera being used.

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
For a corvette owner if iterested in purchasing I will also include a polished LARGE CAP base of a hei/est distributor. All you will have to do it swap your internal stuff into this dristributors base. And I am looking for corvette fuel rails for it so it can be sold to either vette or F-body owners but haven't found any yet.

Sorry I do not have any small cap distributor bases to polish to let go with the purchase of this manifold

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
Here is for the corvette owner .... you can't see the "3860" cast into my manifold very well but I guarantee this is a edelbrock base manifold. Also here is a picture of the manifold EGR supply port that you would bolt you corvettes EGR tube to.

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
And in this picture you can see this manifold will supply EGR gases from the F-bodies heads as well.

and here it's hard to see but the center bolt holes are factory elongated so you can use this manifold on early style heads or later style heads and corvette heads.

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
I found another members pictures and my plenum appears to be cut out on the front like his. He has a AS&M mono-blade throttlebody. I guess this is what my plenum has been cut out for as well.

I think this AS&M mono-blade is a 1,000cfm throttle body and appears to be very expensive ...

You can still however mount a stock throttlebody to this plenum but I would guess that would only hinder the system.

Re: Polished edelbrock base, slp runners complete tpi system
Good news after searching for a hour I found the thermostat housing for my system so that will be polished and come with the system as well.

Not going to say where I found it for fear of being mocked the rest of my life LOL.

here are the last pictures of it. I've tried to show all the blemishes on the system as possible but even so the system still has a very nice shine to it.

In what aspect does this post belong here? Unless you have interest in my tuned port injection system please refrain from posting any comments that are not pertinent to this thread. This thread is a ad for selling my TPI system not for you to badger me on, regarding another thread I made. Perhaps in the future you should consider use of private messages instead of bringing unwanted attention by other means.
