Forgive me for being a noob, but whats the 3-series part mean? 3.xx gear and above? And if I have a 88 formula 350, how do I know what my gear ratio is?

yes series 3 is 3:27-up....your car should have 3:27 being a formula 350...if your car is stock check the rpo code..but to be safe mark the yolk and disc and spin the yolk clockwise and count how many times it turns until the disc has come a full 360 degrees if 3 and a quarter turns it is a 3:27 if 2 and 3 quarter turns a 2:77 ect.
