i have a good set of 081 heads from a 92 305 tpi car...these are much better for the 305 tbi's than the flow restricting swirl ports that came in the tbi models. i will let you all know though i have began port/polish work on the heads...just one head is partially done but never finished because decided time and money wouldnt be there to get where i wanted them..anyway the head w/ work isnt anything drastic that will be hard to finish then duplicate on the opp. one, it has some mild porting/polishing work done on both the intake and exaust ports...also ive opened up the bowls a little bit. and finially i i have narowed the valve guide(piece protruding into the port the valve runs through) into a point hard to explain but its much more stream lined and is whats recomended done in all the threads here( sitting bulls work was were i took my cues from for the work done) mainly this work is increasing the flow some but really just making it a smoother ride for the air by taking off all the flashing from casting as well as streamlining all the sharp edges and turns were the air would have more trouble just flowing over than if it was smooth and easy transistioning.
as for the pc its a computer w/ chip out of a 91 firebird, its the automatic, rs, 305 tbi car. i bought this as a backup for my car and know it works because i had it in car when messing w/ mine trying to burn chips.
and finially i have a tbi unit from a 305 tbi car in great shape. again purchased as backup as well as for a loner while completing ultimate tbi mods to it. this is untouched so you can leave it or port on it for greater flow numbers. still as working stock injectors as well.
