parting out WS6 car with 3:73 posi disc

I will be parting out a 85 T/A with WS6 suspension it has the 34mm front sway bar, quick ratio steering box and a 3:73 10 bolt disc rear and more. I will be starting on removing parts this weekend. Let me know what you need with a zip and I will get back to you asap.

Re: parting out WS6 car with 3:73 posi disc

When I bought the car I was told it was a 3:73 I will be pulling it this weekend and conforming the gears. I don't want to ship it But you can contact a shipping company and have it picked up.

Re: parting out WS6 car with 3:73 posi disc

cool... yeah, 3.73... I guess the original owner could have ordered his car with those gears, but maybe the gears are 3.42. I would take car of shipping arraingments and really appriciate your willingness to go through the hassle to ship a large piece. While I'm at it, maybe we could take some more stuff off your hands, like the torque bar some other suspension stuff. That way, I could have the parts boxed, then slap every thing on at once. Like I said, the parts are for my '86 T/A (not a WS6 car).

How many miles were on the car?

Re: parting out WS6 car with 3:73 posi disc

Do you have the transmission? I need the mechanical speedometer gears (tail shaft gear and speedometer gear for 3:73) and the housing that the speedometer cable connects to if you are willing to sell just those parts. I need to convert from electronic to mechanical.

Scott.

Re: parting out WS6 car with 3:73 posi disc

I need the torque arm mount that mounts the torque arm to the transmission. I have a T5 but I believe the T5 and 700R4 are the same as far as torque arm mount. Which tranny is in this car? Also the lip of the torque arm faces away from driveshaft. Please let me know.
