305 TBI engine & 700R4 trans
I have a 305TBI (5.0) engine and 700R4 trans from a post '87 Firebird for sale. The engine runs good and the trans shifted every gear fine (I test drove the car before tearing it apart). The front accessory drive is sepentine style. One of the mount ears for the alternator is cracked off (I still have the piece and can weld it back together if needed, or the whole bracket is something like $70 new from GM). The engine is complete, though somewhat disassmbled from pulling it out (external parts have been removed). I also have the complete wiring harness and ECM removed from the car.
The trans is a 700R4, and is all stock. As stated it shifted smoothly and did not slip.
I will sell the engine and trans together, sperate, or with or without the harness and ECM. I am located in Newark, DE. I can deliver up to 1 hour each direction for a flat fee of $80. I can ship if required, but keep in mind that due to the weight these items will have to go truck freight. The last trans I shipped this way (five years ago) cost $300 from here to Arizona. PM or meial me at KrapfHomes@aol.com with questions. I did not include prices, just make me an offer. I have some other parts from the same car, so if you need anything else let me know and if I have it I will gladly sell it.

Is this out of an 88 by chance? I am all over that wiring harness (don't need the ECM) if you are willing to seperate. Any idea what you'd want for it, I'm not good at making offers.

It's an '87 or later car. I'm not sure the exact year, but it has a serp belt system and that started in '87. I'll take $100 for the harness plus shipping.
