700r4

Removed from my 91 RS 305 with 140k on it, guy I bought the car from said he had "Sams Trans" in Aurora Il rebuild it but could offer no proof. Trans shifted firm and would chirp 2nd. I removed it in favor of a T5 swap 200 picked up, may be able to arrange delivery if interested. Located in the Aurora Il area 60506

Would you consider shipping it to GA? 30633? I am in bad need of one... sick and tired of mine being a yard ornament.

I am shooting myself in the foot here but there is no way it is cost feasible to ship this trans all the way to GA. According to someone on this forum the dryweight of a rebuilt 700r4 less converter is 140 lbs, and if you wanted the converter that is on there it would weigh roughly 50 more, so even if i managed to get all the fluid out of it and got it down to 140 I would have to build a crate that weights less than 10lbs. If I was able to do that the shipping would be 180ish through ups. Unfortunatly over 150lbs is considered freight which would be exponentially more to ship, but if you are willing to pay the shipping, the cost to build a crate, and my price of $200 I would be glad to ship it
