i need the little bolt that holds the clutch fork in the bell housing. mine has stripped threads and will not hold. if anyone wants to sell me one or point me in the right direction to get one I would really appreciate it.

Re: clutch fork ball stud

Are you talking about the pivot ball?

If so, I am seeking one also since mine is worn on the 'ball' end.
I've seen them from time to time on ebay, but make sure you get the right one. I've asked for overall length measurements (mine is 1 3/4"/total) just to find that other GM ones being sold on ebay for different (older) GM cars are shorter/etc.

Hope my pic helps either of us find the part(s) we are looking for.

Perhaps your dealership can come up with something.

1986-91 “F” Clutch (M.T.)

STUD, Clu Fork Ball (ML9) p/n 10085209

If not, perhaps there's something in the following link that will work:

Re: clutch fork ball stud

Thanks JamesC.
I will probably end up just taking it up.......I mean buying it from the local dealer.
I've seen the adjustable ones at Summit before, but I really would like to just get a replacement to just screw in and forget it.
