700R4- built for over 400hp - Still in the car for test drive
Im selling the 700R4 from my 1989 Trans Am GTA. It works excellent and the only reason for selling is I am doing a T56 swap. It was built about 10,000 miles ago to handle over 400hp. It is still in the car right now behind a 383 stroker so you can see that it shifts perfect, doesn't slip, make any noise, or vibrate in any way. It was built by Kilpatrick's Transmissions in Waukesha WI. It comes with the stock torque converter. Pick up only, I am located in Waukesha WI which is just west of Milwaukee and about an hour from Chicago. I can have the trans out of the car ready for pickup or you can go for a ride before I remove it. I have over $1500 in this trans and I am asking only $750obo.

It's not a bad question, the trans is out of the car now, I am just finishing up my t56 swap. The trans is still available.
