Please disregard...thank you!

I have a set of SLP headers, without the logo on them. It is the 3/4" inside diameter and I would like to trade one for a set of 7/8" SLP headers WITH the logo on them. No logo, means a NO GO! I absolutely MUST HAVE the SLP logo on the one header. The set IO have is in nice condition and I absolutely WILL NOT let them go unless I get what I'm looking for.

I'd prefer to trade part for part, but as long as I end up with what I'm looking for out of the entire deal, I really don't care what happens.

If I don't find them before my build is complete I'll put what I have on the car and the whole deal will be over. They will be going on a fairly rare and stock, documented, #'s matching, 305 TPI 1991 T/A with a 5-speed and "SLP kit". The kit is complete, but I'd like to have the logo's for show purposes.

I realize this thread is useless without pictures, so I will be taking pictures on Thursday, August 12, 2010 and posting them. I need help to make my baby complete and have $$$ for the upgrade !!!!!

Re: FOR TRADE--SLP Headers-PLEASE HELP

Believe the 2 sizes are 1 5/8" for the 305's and 1 3/4" for use on the 350's. There was also a set of tri-Y headers but can't remember for sure if they were used on the SLP packages.

Re: FOR TRADE--SLP Headers-PLEASE HELP

The "SLP kit", if you're talking about the package that could be ordered from the dealer, meant the Tri-Y headers. The 4 into 1, 1-5/8" and 1-3/4" headers came later. The logo tag didn't appear until the last few years. So if you want the 'correct' headers for a car that was purchased with them new, they aren't going to have the logo.

I knew there were 2 sizes, but I thought thr 1 3/4" was the small one. I guess I'm wrong. Thanks for the info Tony!

Really!?!

That's crazy....because the guy I got the non-logo's headers from said he purchased them just before SLP discontinued them. That's pretty cool then. I guess I need to do some more research and archiving then. thanks for your help.
