600HP 383 Stroker
I recently moved off of long island and have to sell the motor i built for my 69 camaro
The motor has all new parts in it and cost almost 15,000 to build
Im an ase certified mechanic and handbuilt the motor
Heres a list of some of the parts the motor has in it
Brand new gm performance parts 383 stroker block, 1 piece rms 4 bolt mains
Eagle 4340 forged rotating assembly with forged pistons, fully spin balanced
Clevite main and rod bearings
Moroso high volume oil pump
Milodon stroker oil pan with built in windage tray
All arp fasteners used through out motor
Comp cams Solid Roller Cam over .600 lift
Comp solid lifters with oil grooves
with 1.52 comp pro magnum rockers
and high tech pushrods
Dart pro 1 aluminum heads 230 cc runners 64 cc combustion chambers compression ratio 10.7:1 so pump gas friendly
dart single plane intake manifold
Mighty demon 825 cc carb
Dougs 1 3/4 inch long tube headers
and msd pro billet distrubuter
Im sure i missed some parts but u get the idea no expenses sparred to build motor used all top of the line parts
Have started motor on engine stand sounds amazing nice lopey idle
This combintion of parts should make upwards of 600 hp and similar torque
Will make a great street/strip motor
Asking $7500

Motor hasnt been in a car yet, brand new no miles
just broken in on engine stand
It should make very close to 600 hp
I built the same motor someone built out of a book and that motor made around 590 hp and similar torque
I can come down a little but not too much
have close to 15k into it

Looks like a good deal. I have well over the asking price in my 383 and it's pretty much the same build.
