Heavy Duty TH700R4 and B&M Lock-up Controller

Hey y'all,

Getting ready to start the full-scale part out of my '90 Suburban. First thing going up for sale is the transmission. The trans itself was rebuilt 30k miles ago by Gray's Transmission in San Angelo, TX. 24k miles ago I decided to go ahead and beef it up for towing my boat and stuff. Here's the specs on what was done:

-B&M Traveler Lock-Up Torque Converter http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70422/
-B&M Torque Converter Lock-Up Controller http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70248/
-B&M RV/Towing Shift Kit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70239/
-NAPA Gold Transmission Filter
-Summit Racing Cast Aluminum +3 Qts Extra Capacity Transmission Pan w/ Temp Sender Bung and Drain Plug http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SME-1008R/
-Timken Tailshaft Seal
-Energy Suspension Polyurethane Transmission Mount

I've used Valvoline Dex/Merc Synthetic Transmission fluid since the rebuild, and completely changed the fluid with new fluid and filter when I did the trans work 24k miles ago. The TV cable has always been properly adjusted as per the factory GM Service Manual. I also installed a large Hayden RV Automatic Transmission Cooler in the grille, and changed to a 160 degree thermostat when I did the work. The transmission stays very, very cool. I towed slightly over 5000 lbs of stuff on my move down from Maryland this summer, and the transmission temperature never got over 165 degrees (and that was running 70-75 mph in the middle of August on the gulf coast of Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana).

The trans has very positive/firm 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shifts, as well as a noticeable ~300 rpm drop when the Torque Converter locks up. The trans is still in the vehicle, and you are more than welcome to come test drive it before I pull it.

I'm asking $600 for the transmission, which will include the pan, torque converter, TV cable, and as much fluid as I can keep in it when I pull it. I will save any drained fluid in a clean container so you can re-use it. I will be keeping the transmission cooler and temperature gauge for my 3/4 ton, but I will sell the B&M Lock-Up Controller for $100. This kit costs $160 new, and is a must-have for swapping a TH700 into a non-computer controlled car (or any vehicle that didn't originally come with a lock-up converter).

PM me if you're interested, I'll be putting it up on craigslist too.

Sorry, shipping would be a nightmare to New York on this thing. I'd be almost giving the trans to you for free. If someone is located in Texas, I might be able to work out a delivery/meeting place.
