I know those are strut covers, but what are they? Are these made on a 3D printer, are they a carbon fiber mold, plastic mold, pvc material?
Re: *NEW* Shock Dust Covers!! You gotta see this!
Tibo,
These are 3D Printed Dust Covers using 100% Made in the USA PLA Plastic. They are much stronger than the original plastic molder Dust Covers. Please feel free to ask any more questions.
Thank you

I've only ever used dust covers on 4x4's and trucks, what purpose do they serve on a street car? (I mean, obviously to protect from dust, but do they prolong the life of anything, etc?)

RedLeader,
These come stock on all F-Bodies. They are to protect against, dirt, dust, rocks, water, and anything else flying up into your wheel well which in return will prolong the life of your Strut. Basically we want to protect against anything that could potentially hurt the exposed steel rod that is connected to your strut tower.

I'll give them a go, I was looking for a solution like this as I just installed a set of Koni yellows and need new covers, but everything I could find out there looked like some kind of off road accordion.

I wonder if they work with camber/caster plates.. The stock ones do not.

No offense, but I would never put those on my car. These are for people willing to pay a little more for a much stronger and nicer looking dust cover.
The reason they weren't fitting in your caster camber plates is due to how it mounts at the bearing block. These were specifically designed to work with caster camber plates and fit great!

Bellows style are typically used on 4x4s because they are water tight.

Re: *NEW* Shock Dust Covers!! You gotta see this!
might be interested in these. My biggest issue with this design is now much space you loose around the strut rod for adjustment (alot like a coil over) but they do look nice.
are you still making them?
