Like the title says I am looking for a nice unhacked dash harness for my 87 5 speed TPI IROCZ. Preferably one that doesn't have broken clips and is in good shape. Anyone have one they want to sell me?

 

dash harnesses are fairly the same especially for camaro's with the exception of 91-92, those are a bit different. the ECU/TPI Harness is separate and comes through the pass footwell.

 

Good to know... I have an 88 or 89 RS 305 TBI 5 speed parts car. Not sure if that will work. I heard there is a way to convert a TBI harness into TPI, Not sure I am not very good with electrical stuff... Doesn't the dash harness have to have the same options if I plan to keep all the options my car came factory with?

 

It should be the same harness ( i think ) i put a 1986 TA dash in my 84 with 1989 gauges and everything works without modding it.

 

When looking at dash harnesses on hawksthirdgen they ask for:

year, engine, trans, power windows, power locks, air conditioning, rear defrost, and brake light in spoiler

I have all of those options by the way. I am thinking they must be asking those questions for a reason. I am no wiring expert by any means though... Under engine the only options they give you are V6 or V8 which leads me to believe TBI and TPI must be the same as far as dash harnesses go like you said. I'm going to call Hawks here in bit to verify bc that would be nice if I didn't have to buy one and was able to use the one on my parts car assuming its not all hacked.
