I bought a 10 bolt off a 97 ws6 firebird lt1 car. The owner wrecked the car and parted it out. He told me it had around 60k when he took it off. it comes with 3.23 gears and it is a posi differential. I have the the calipers and brackets for it also. the same day I bought it I bought new brake hoses for the calipers. the plan was to install it on my 85 camaro but it needs other things first. I dont want to pay to store the diff. in the storage unit I have until im ready to install it. currently have a 9 bolt posi that will work and later on I will buy a 12 bolt for it. So im selling this 10 bolt to not pay storage fees anymore. I Know it is not the most desirable one but if you dont have a posi and want one, also If you want rear disk brakes; this is for you. you can interchange the parts with your third gen's 10 bolt as long as it has the same number of splines. so look at it as a cheap rear disc brake conversion if you already have a 10 bolt with drums. the brake pads are still in the calipers, the rotors are trash though. I will post pictures of it tomorrow when I go to the unit after work. it will have to be picked up in ohio.
