Hi, I'm replacing the TPI 305 with a TPI 350 in my 1988 Trans-Am. I haven't decided on an engine yet so my questions are, would this set-up fit under the stock hood and which engines would it work best with (stock, 300hp, 350hp, 400hp etc.). Thanks, Ron.
I have this set up under my stock hood of my formula so it will fit under yours no problem. I made 330hp with this set up with a stock 350 and a stock cam. I also have trick flow aluminum heads on it 56cc chambers 175 intake runners compression was 10.5:1 runs great I'm also selling those for 800 with the valve covers that are in the pic. I'd say with a aftermarket cam you could push it to 350-375 hp. The intake will work on a stock 300hp motor up to 400+. Any other questions feel free to ask
This is a very nice setup! Good job on keeping the bay clean and clutter free. You have anymore pics of the entire engine bay? Would like to steal some ideas.
Thanks!
Sorry I don't have any other pics broke my phone with the pictures on it and I just pulled the engine today. But if you have any questions or ideas on your set up I'd be glad to help spent a lot of hours in that engine bay
