I have a NOS in the box GM delco electronic speed sensor. VSS
fits many applications.
Never installed. I bought this at the dealer, lost it, sold the car then found it behind my workbench.

Yes that is my understanding. as long as you have electric speedo and not cable driven.
You would reuse your driven gear that came off of old unit.
