I Will be doing a LS1 swap this winter and i wanted to see if there is any interest in the original engine. The engine is a 2.8 V6 with auto transmission 12,600 original miles on the car and engine. I can send a video of it running if interested. I am in upstate NY

I need some advice on what do do for selling my engine and transmission, I am going to try local marketplace but i don't think that it will reach enough people. I have no idea what to try and get for this combo but i am going to keep it very reasonable. I know its not very desirable but maybe someone needs an new v6 with crazy low miles. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If this is from your '89 Firebird it would be fuel injected as well, so really cool. Does it come with wiring and accessories? If so this would be an awesome transplant for a project.

 

this will be complete with all the wiring and pumps alternator and a/c compressor. I still need to remove the transmission and wiring

 

I would advertise this on the Fiero Forums.
They used this engine in some of those cars and I'm sure someone would want a low mileage engine like that.
I don't think the trans would do them any good.
