It seems MSD started getting a bad rap after the original founder sold out their company to Gryphon Investors on 4/8/2004, LinkGryphonSale and then they sold out to Holley Sept 2015, Link Holley. At some point parts started getting manufactured in China. This distributor was manufactured Apr 16 2004, before anything could of changed from the 1st sale. This distributor is made in the USA, not China.
