I've got to ask,......
Isn't this the same thing as any other EST / Knock sensor V8 Carb ECM ?? I'm not talking about the V8's WITHOUT the EST / knock sensor and electric fan - but isn't the L69 ECM and chip the same as an LG4 with EST ?? ( disregarding the obvious auto vs stick )
I KNOW they will interchange without a problem - but is there a DIFFERENCE ??

Yeah pretty much the l69 has a more agressive timing table.....
Im not having much luck on here so I might haft to find one from a local junk yard and hope it works

Thanx for the info.
I know I have one for a "G" engine but it's a Manual ECM. I'll dig thru my others to see if I can find an automatic version.

I found one since last posting to this thread too......... From an 84 Z28 HO auto. I never pulled the codes from the ECM and chip, but that's exactly what I pulled it out of.
