Hi- I'm looking for a good strut tower brace for my 85 IROC TPI 305. I'm worried because I have a fiberglass IROC turbo hood and I'm afraid of what might happen if I get a 3-point STB. Any suggestions and recommendations on were to get a good deal on one? Thanks in advance. Stu

 

Just curious. Why is this a concern?

The clearance. My fiberglass hood has a filmsy back lower support peice by the windsheild and I don't want it to crack and break my hood. I've heard about clearance issues with the 3-pt ones thats why I'm looking for a 2 pt one. Thanks.

 

I'm running a stock hood with an Edelbrock 3-pt. No problems. Check the following link for info/pics:

this is something that interests me as well since I'm doing a coil-over conversion on my 92Ls swap. Toss a price for the brace to me shipped to 32533 if somebody before me doesn't speak up for it. Thanks, Bill
