if it has the origional 3 speed automatic its the one i need. 82 has a longer crossmember, not much longer. on 3rd gens there are 3 bolt holes on each side of the frame where the crossmember bolts, the 82 uses the front hole and the middle hole on each side. the 83-92's use the middle and rear hole. does this make sence? thanks-art

Yes it will work with a T-10 the T-10 and automatic that came in 82 are the same length
